INTRODUCTION

The following terms and conditions govern the use of this website and outline the legal responsibilities and obligations that shall exist between you (customer) and By Katriin (diLusso OÜ). By placing order on this website, you have thus read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

VALIDITY OF CONTRACT OF SALE, PRODUCT AND PRICE INFORMATION

The conditions of sale apply to purchases of goods from the online store.

The prices of the products sold in the online store are indicated next to the products. A fee for shipping is added to the price.

The shipping cost depends on the location of the customer and the shipping method. The shipping cost is displayed when the customer laces the order.

Product information is provided immediately adjacent to the product in the online store.

By purchasing an item from our online store it is assumed that you have read and understand the description, information provided on the production and shipping time and agree with the terms and conditions set herein.

Each product is handmade and therefore unique and subject to some variations form piece to piece. When in doubt you may contact us via email info@katriin.com for questions you might have prior to purchase. Due to monitor differences, actual colours may vary slightly from what appears online.

PLACING AN ORDER

Add the desired products to your shopping basket to order them. Fill in all of the required fields and choose the most suitable shipping method to complete the order. The total cost is then displayed on the screen. This can be paid via an online bank transfer or using another payment method.

The contract enters into force when the amount payable is transferred to the bank account of the online store.

If we cannot deliver the ordered goods due to stock running out or for any other reason, the purchaser will be informed as soon as possible and the money paid (including the shipping cost) will be refunded promptly, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification.

SHIPPING

Goods are shipped to the following countries: worldwide

The customer bears the shipping cost and the respective price information is displayed next to the shipping method.

All shipments within Estonia generally arrive at the destination specified by the customer within 3-7 business days of the date of entry into force of the contract of sale. All shipments outside of Estonia are guaranteed to arrive within 30 calendar days.

We have the right to ship goods in up to 45 calendar days in exceptional cases.

Please note that turnaround times may be longer during the high season. When in doubt if the order will get to you on time, please contact us via e-mail: info@katriin.com to clarify taking into account your specific information.

Rush orders are considered on a case-by-case basis. After reviewing details of your order, By Katriin will let you know whether it can be completed within your requested timeframe.

BESPOKE/CUSTOM ORDERS

Bespoke pieces, due to it’s customised nature, cannot be returned. All custom items must be approved by the customer before shipping. We will provide photographs of the custom piece via email provided for us by the customer.

Completely new designs require 50% custom order non-refundable deposit of the estimated price, requested before work begins. Customer accepts the conditions set herein upon paying the deposit. All custom piece price is calculated based on individual details according to the scope, time, difficulty and material of the specific design and the final price can be given on the completion of the headpiece. We will although give a price estimation beforehand based on our experience and estimated material of use.
We have the right to use the custom design and elements of the custom design in creating new products without prior consent of the customer, unless specifically stated otherwise.
We have the right to take photos of the custom design and use them in promoting its products and brand on the webpage, social media etc.

COUPON CODES

From time to time, we may give a coupon code as a promo code or discount code that the customer can use to reduce the price of specified products. Coupon code should be entered at checkout to respective field. After entering the coupon code in the coupon code field click „apply“ and it will add the code to your order. The code must be entered in checkout, it cannot be applied later.

Each code has its own terms, which will be made clear at the time it is issued to you (what products, single/multiple use, when it can be used). You can only use one code per order. This applies to our free delivery codes too. Coupon codes cannot be used for gift cards or any delivery charges. If you’re given an unique code that is meant just for you please keep it a secret and don’t let anyone else use it or abuse it.

GIFT CARDS
If you are the lucky recipient of a By Katriin Gift Card you receive a unique coupon code you can use at checkout to pay for the order full or reduce the price. By Katriin Gift Card acts like an unique coupon that can be used to pay for the order in full or if the order exceeds the Gift Card value it will reduce the price. The Gift Card unique code can be used by entering it in the coupon code field at checkout. By Katriin Gift Card will expire 12 months from the purchase of the Gift Card. Gift Card is not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. As Gift Card can be only used once, make sure the order is in the same sum as the Gift Card or more as we will not be refunding the unused sum.
Digital Gift Cards will be sent to the customer in 1-2 days following payment. The Gift Card can then be printed out or forwarded to the recipient via e-mail provided by the customer. Speaking of e-mails, sometimes our emails are sent into junk or spam folders. Be sure to check your junk or spam folder when the gift card is nowhere to be found.

PACKAGING

All our handmade headpieces come in a beautifully custom designed handmade keepsake boxes. To ensure that the headpiece will last for generations please keep the piece in the box when not in use.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

After receiving the order, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract entered into with the e-store within 14 days. The right of withdrawal shall not apply to custom-made or clearly personalised orders (subsection 53(4) in the Law of Obligations Act).

The right of withdrawal does not apply if the customer is a legal person.

To exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal, you must not use the ordered goods in any way other than is necessary to ensure the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods in the same way you would be allowed to test the goods in an actual store.

If the goods have been used for any purpose other than is necessary to ensure the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, or if there are any signs of use or wear and tear, the online store has the right to lower the amount returned in accordance with the decrease in the value of the goods.

To return the goods, you must write an e-mail to info@katriin.com within 14 days of receiving the goods.

The customer shall bear the cost of returning the goods, except in cases where the reason for the return lies in the fact that a refundable product does not comply with the order (e.g. a wrong or defective product).

The purchaser must return the goods within 14 days of sending e-mail to info@katriin.com or submit evidence that they handed over the goods to the carrier within the aforementioned period.

Upon receiving the returned goods, the online store shall return to the customer, immediately but no later than after 14 days, all of the payments received from the customer based on the contract.

The online store has the right to refuse to make the refund until the goods being returned are received or until the buyer has provided proof of returning the products, whichever occurs first.

If the buyer has clearly chosen a different form of shipment than the cheapest usual form of shipment offered by the online store, the store is not required to compensate the cost exceeding the usual shipping cost.

The online store has the right to withdraw from the sale and demand that the goods be returned by the customer if the marked price of the goods in the online store is significantly lower than the market price of the goods due to an error.
